Keighley Juniors collected three points with a 7-1 win at Royal to take advantage as other clubs were forced to sit out the weekend because of waterlogged pitches.
Royal were unlucky to be 3-0 down at half time, but then Keighley took total control. Although Nick Fawell managed to pull one back for Royal the Keighley side ran away with victory. Howard Wellwood scored a hat-trick and there were other goals from Martin Bland and Rob Pearson.
In Group A of the Sunday Cup Victoria 2000 virtually secured a two place with a comfortable3-1 win over Bay Horse. Gavin Yates gave Victoria a first half lead with Rob Dunn and Nick Kirk extending their advantage after the break. Jonathan Harris scored a late consolation goal for Bay Horse.
Woodend were always in ctonrol against Stoney Lane, taking a 6-2 win. Stoney pulled back to 3-2 in the second half, but Woodend pulled away with Gavin Collins scoring a hat-trick. Further goals came from Mark O'Hanlan, Steve Pickles and Andy Gorman.
Bolton Villas thought they had secured a point against Broadford Plant with a third equaliser just two minutes from time, but Domonic Fitzgerald scored a last minute winner for Plant.
They led three times with goals from Allan Miller, John Thompson and Mark Stuart. Bolton's goals were scored by Nigel Long (2) and Peter Bailey.
