Keighley women are joining millions across the globe for an annual day of prayer. A special service will be held on Friday, March 3, to mark the Women's World Day of Prayer. The service at the Airedale Church on North Street will be led by Rev Brenda Sugden, and guest of honour will be Lady Mayoress Cllr Christine Mason. Rev Ruth Parry will speak to the congregation on this year's subject of Indonesia.
The service is open to men and children as well as women and has been timed deliberately so that mothers can pop in before picking up their children Favourite hymns will be sung from 1.45pm before the 2.15 service.
