Lives are at risk because of the terrible state of Riddlesden roads, according to Helen Cookson.
Helen , of Hall Terrace, says: "They are atrocious. I have only found two that are near perfect - namely Skipton Road and the bypass. The rest are disgraceful."
Mrs Cookson works in Wilsden, travelling from Riddlesden along Bradford Road, Parkwood Street, Park Lane, Marsden Road and Wilsden Road.
She says the roads she uses are in an appaling state and describes the section between Victoria Park roundabout and Bar Lane as a patchwork quilt. "Now a trench has been dug down the centre - the reason for this is unknown - and I have yet to see anyone doing any work there," she adds.
She also highlights Keighley's many raised or sunken manholes, and says she could go on "ad infinitum" about Keighley's road problems.
She says other motorists must be similarly frustrated and asks: "When the various utilities have finished their work does anyone inspect the repairs to the road to see that they are done to a certain standard?"
She adds: "Politicians and especially local councillors should be taken to task and made to answer for their mis-management.
"It's time Keighley had a voice as Bradford clearly does not know we exist."
A spokesman for Bradford council's highways department says plans to resurface Bradford Road, in Riddlesden, have been delayed by the current Yorkshire Water works.
He adds: "Once Yorkshire Water has finished all its work we will inspect the road and reschedule our road resurfacing scheme. Highways officers monitor the condition of roads across the district and many are resurfaced as part of the council's on-going maintenance programme."
A spokesman for Yorkshire Water apologised for the Bradford Road roadworks.
"The work is due to a leak on private land and will be completed as soon as possible.
"We would like to thank people for their patience while vital work is undertaken," says the spokesman.
