Support is hotting up for a Keighley restaurant's charity night extravaganza.
More than 40 bookings have already been received for the March 13 Shimla Spice money-spinner, from which proceeds will boost the fight against cancer.
Every penny spent at the South Street restaurant that evening - including cash from takeaways and deliveries - will be donated to the cause. Money will go to Airedale Cancer Support Group and to the Imran Khan Cancer Hospital in Pakistan.
Basharat Hussain, a partner at the restaurant with his two brothers, told us: "Following a piece in the Keighley News a few weeks ago, we had a very good response, but we do need more support in order to make the event a success.
"All takings from the evening will help the cancer charities. We would urge the public to give its backing."
Two Shimla Spice charity evenings last year together raised a staggering £2,800. Proceeds went to the Bangladesh Flood Appeal and to the Lord Mayor's Appeal, for the special-care baby units at Airedale Hospital and Bradford Royal Infirmary.
To book a table for March 13 (6pm-12.15am) phone the restaurant on 602040.
