MEMBERS of Menston Mothers' Union celebrated the group's 90th birthday with a bring and share supper.
The group - who chose February 29 as their anniversary as records do not state the official date - marked the milestone with an evening of entertainment.
Barbara Nelson, president of the group, which meets at the Parish Church, St John the Divine, said: "We have done very well. Lets hope we can go on to celebrate 100 years now."
Members past and present turned out for the occasion to take part in the games and sketches.
The group, which discusses the union of marriage and Christian family life, are also seeking new recruits - particularly younger members.
Mrs Nelson said: "We are a fairly vibrant branch because people still willing to support us even if they can't always come to the meetings.
"Numbers are falling off because as people leave young people do not come along to take their place."
Anyone interested in joining the group should contact Barbara Nelson on (01943) 874179.
