Families say their lives are a nightmare because of music playing until the early hours every day in a nearby club.
Residents in Mannville Terrace, near Great Horton Road, are trying to stop the Dusk till Dawn nightclub, formerly the U'Varsity, from renewing its entertainment licence into the early hours.
The club wants a licence between 10am and 3am the following day right through from Monday to Saturday, but 10am to 12.30pm on Sundays.
The previous licence was for the basement and ground floor of the premises.
But the new licence would only be for the basement.
The families say there is no rest from the club, which has been open late every day of the week in the past.
A petition signed by 43 people has been submitted to Bradford Council's Area Licensing Panel, which will consider the application tomorrow.
Ward Councillor Sajawal Hussain (Labour University) will attend the meeting to support their protest.
He said many of the residents had young children who needed to get up for school, and some students were angry about the noise when they had exams and needed to work.
Councillor Hussain said the club had been shut recently, but the residents wanted to stop the late hours from resuming.
He said: "They say there is no rest at night at all and they have had enough of it.
"They are complaining about noise from both inside and outside the club.
"There is traffic and cars hooting and people urinating in back alleys."
The panel will also consider an application for the transfer of the entertainment licence from Mohammed Aslam to Alexis Hague Malik.
In a letter to the committee, Councillor Hussain says the objectors would agree to the hours being reduced but also want conditions to make the premises noise free and soundproofed.
