PAUL Briscoe called on his mates when it came time for him to celebrate the opening of his new brewery within Otley's Bowling Green pub. A keen runner with the Pudsey and Bramley club Paul organised a race up Otley Chevin to co-incide with the event and many of his Pudsey and Bramley clubmates took part. Pudsey and Bramley runner Boff Whalley, guitarist with chart group Chumbawamba, rolled up to cut the tape on the new brewery.
Race winner was Rob Hope.
