A new team has been appointed at Silsden-based Moorcroft Menswear as the firm expands internationally.
Geoff Moores has joined as production manager to oversee Moorcroft's manufacturing, both its branded lines in Portugal and Poland and the company's more recent production base in the Far East.
He is well-known in the industry, having spent his working life in menswear retailing and buying.
"I've dealt with Moorcroft since the company was founded by Michael Stanley in 1981 and admired them enormously," says Geoff. "So when the chance came to join them, I jumped at it."
Frank Nolan has been appointed contracts manager where his considerable experience with Lord Anthony, Baker Street Clothing and Pinwise will be invaluable in sourcing and contracts worldwide.
New products are planned, including opening new markets in men's, ladies' and children's wear, developing alongside the Moorcroft brand under the direction of sales and marketing director Nick McGlynn.
Graham Metcalfe has taken over as accounts and IT manager on the retirement of Jim Ambler, who had been with the company for eight years.
"Our new team has been carefully developed to take Moorcroft into the 21st century with a strong brand and highly efficient own label and contracts division," said managing director Michael Stanley.
"This has been made possible by the development of our new headquarters and warehousing complex at Silsden and where phase two of the building programme is now well underway," he added.
