Baildon firm William Denby has invested £350,000 in four new dyeing machines which will help it stay ahead of the game.
The firm, based at Tong Park, has bought four Thies dyeing machines which are made in Germany and has an option on a further two. The company are commission dyers and finishers of woven fabrics.
Together, the six machines would carry out 75 per cent of the company's normal production - some 225,000 metres of fabric each week.
The firm has been through difficult times in the last few years and last year had to make a number of people redundant.
Bosses are looking forward to an increase in orders thanks to a commitment to quality products and customer service.
William Denby, which now employs some 135 workers, spent £60,000 in the final quarter of last year on new state-of-the-art technical computer equipment.
Financial and administration director Lewis Howcroft said: "This will allow us to produce more accurate dyeing recipes within our dye laboratory in a shorter timescale."
The firm is now setting up a website in a bid to market itself to a wider audience and hopefully generate more orders.
