Phoenix, leaders of the Mumtaz Premier Division in the West Riding County Amateur League, failed to extend their winning sequence to six successive games.
They would have opened a four-point gap over second-placed Hemsworth MW and a six-point advantage ahead of third-placed Brighouse Town, Phoenix's visitors.
Phoenix, who have relied on their strike-force of Dale Hoyle and Mick Gilmartin for most of this season, found the way to goal barred by experienced Town central defenders Paul Moore and Andy Tyson.
The Keighley side have only failed to score once before this season, when they lost 2-0 at home to Storthes Hall in November.
But they again found themselves facing a 2-0 defeat when Shaun Walsh twice broke away to dent Phoenix's charge towards the championship, and put Town level on 41 points at the top.
Wibsey completed the double over Marsden to stay in fourth place three points adrift, Mick Burke (2) and Martin Carnall scoring in their 3-1 victory.
Campion's bid for league honours were dented when they lost 6-5 at home to Littletown. The hosts' cause was not helped when goalkeeper Neil Barrett was sent off.
Despite having only ten men, Campion matched their visitors strike for strike with goals from Floyd Peltier (2), Pritt Singh, Dennis Lewis and Craig Sutcliffe.
Richard Burke (2), Paul Murphy, Paul Moorhouse, Mick Chamberlane and Paul Cartwright scored for Littletown to take them one point ahead of Campion.
Fields eased their relegation worries with a 2-0 success at fellow strugglers Altofts, Steve Daykin and Martin Vickers scoring in the second half.

Two goals from Peter Edmondson, one a penalty, and a third from Andy Cuff gave Dudley Hill Athletic a 3-1 victory at Division One promotion hopefuls Otley Town, a win that moves Hill into third, nine points behind Otley.
Leaders Stump Cross increased their lead over Otley to eight points with a 2-0 victory at bottom-placed Farnley.
Ventus-Yeadon Celtic eased their relegation fears and spiked the chances of visitors Hali-fax Irish making a quick return to the top division after being relegated last season. Keith Turner (2), Carl Patten and new signing Ben Saville scored in their 4-3 victory.
Goals from Stuart Gray and brothers Martin and Mark Bland moved Division Two pacesetters Silsden to within four points of promotion in their 3-0 home win over Westbrook Wanderers.
Second-placed Keighley Shamrocks were on the wrong end of a 4-2 scoreline against Hunsworth, Steve Oakes (3) and Andy Lee scoring for the Birkenshaw-based side. Paul Driver, later dismissed for retaliation, and Greg Finn scored for the Shamrocks.
Baildon Trinity Athletic had Fergus Morris on target three times at Steeton as they stepped up their bid for a second successive promotion. Salts' run of four victories was brought to an end at Dynamoes, Derek Faulkner, Dave Varley and Steve Helliwell scoring in a 3-2 victory. Paul Heggarty (2) replied.
