Bradford Bulls are remaining non-committal over the future of coach Matthew Elliott who continues to be linked with a return Down Under.
Press reports in the Sydney Morning Herald over the weekend hinted that Aussie Elliott was under consideration for jobs in the NRL and was "keen to come home."
Elliott's contract runs out at the end of the season and so far both parties have declined to comment publicly on the chances of an extension being either offered or signed.
Bulls chairman Chris Caisley said today: "Matthew's contract will be reviewed in the fullness of time but there is no desire by either party to rush into discussions at this stage.
"As far as I am aware Matthew is happy with the job he has got and we are pleased with the progress being made.
"Everyone is so busy at the moment channelling all their efforts into making a success of this season that the opportunity for talks hasn't arisen but no doubt at some stage we will be discussing the situation."
Elliott has now imposed a virtual media ban on the question of his future but said in the close season: "The only way I would dream of not doing this job was if an opportunity came up in Australia, but there are plenty of unemployed head coaches back home and I can't see anything cropping up in the near future.
"I certainly anticipate being with the Bulls for a fair bit longer and while I am they will get my 100 per cent commitment."
