The Shay Grange Golf Centre will be the focal point for next month's National Golf Week activities in the Bradford area.
They will be offering free lessons to anyone who wants to take up golf or just get a first taste of the sport.
Golf professionals Neil Reeves, David Delaney and John Clapham will be giving lessons during the week and anyone interested should ring 01274 491945 to book a time.
National Golf Week is this year being backed by BAE Systems - the world's third largest aerospace and defence company - and also has the support of Europe's Number One Colin Montgomerie.
The 'week' runs from April 21 to May 1 to include Easter weekend and centres throughout the country will be available for introductions into golf.
Equipment is provided free of charge and Montgomerie says: "Everyone should be given the chance to have a go at golf. You're never too old or too young to start."
A special hotline with details of other centres available goes live from next Monday. The number is 08706 003330.
lA record first prize of £250,000 will be on offer when Montgomerie targets a record third successive victory at the Volvo PGA Championship in May.
This year's millennium edition of the championship from May 26-29 will see record prize money overall of £1.5million.
"The Volvo PGA Championship is the European Tour's flagship event," said Montgomerie.
"It is one trophy I always wanted to win and to win it three times in succession would be very special."
