Bradford Bulls coach Matthew Elliott insists his side will hold nothing in reserve for the first leg of their crunch double-header with revitalised Warrington Wolves at Odsal tomorrow.

The clash opens up the club's home Super League programme and the sides go head-to-head again six days later at Headingley in a Silk Cut Challenge Cup semi-final.

But Elliott stresses: "To be honest with you, the second game has not even entered my mind.

"We are playing Warrington at home - it is our first home Super League fixture and we have a proud record at Odsal going back to August 1998.

"They are a very strong side and we can't afford to be too clever. They have world-class players who have performed at the highest level for a long time.

"It makes Warrington who are always a difficult side to beat even more forceful.

"But without being disrespectful to any of them I am very confident that if we execute what we have prepared to do we will win. Even if they had Harry Houdini playing for them they wouldn't be able to stop us

"It is just a matter of going out on two separate occasions and proving we are better than them."

There is little doubt though that tomorrow's winners will have a psychological edge going into the semi-final.

"When you start to win it becomes habit-forming and it becomes difficult to lose.

"We need to get some momentum going and keep the winning run going as long as possible.

"I do believe we have to play a lot better this week than we did last but I know we can do that.

"While I am delighted with the way we have started this season I am focused on how much better we can become.

"We have trained very well this week after probably being a little flat last week.

"The players have been full of beans and if the preparation is anything to go by then I am looking forward to a good performance."

The Bulls are expected to rest top try scorer Michael Withers who has rib damage and that could mean a senior debut for close-season Aussie recruit Justin Brooker.

Tevita Vaikona and Bernard Dwyer have also been added to the squad on duty at Halifax last week.

The Wolves stick with the same starting line-up that accounted for Salford in the cup although Gary Chambers has recovered from an elbow injury and is set for a place on the bench.
