A Sutton Skye Terrier has come out tops at Crufts.
Twenty-month-old Ebony, or Knowlespring Michigan, owned by Janet Woodhead of Harper Grove, won three awards at last week's show - best class, best bitch and reserve best of breed.
And according to Janet, a Skye Terrier breeder who has been involved with dog shows for the past 15 years, Ebony is very young to win such an accolade.
Janet also picked up a first prize for best postgraduate dog with her Skye Terrier, Knowlespring Silent Wings, better known as Bob.
In fact the villagers of Sutton must have a good eye, with dog-grooming salon Tailwaggers also brushing up a winner.
Staff helped Tibetan Mastiff Chuba win the breed's best bitch at the show - the third consecutive year the High Street clippers have groomed top prize winners for Chuba's Yeadon-based owners.
Salon owner Anne Andrews says: "We prepare them before they go to the show."
Other Craven winners included Jo and Tim Croft, of Walker Close, Glusburn, with their Weimaraner dog, Gunalt Insense, or Jack, who won first in the mid limit dog section.
Meanwhile, Beamsley's Karen Robinson won first prize in the veteran dog category with 10-year-old Gunalt Harris Tweed or Harris, who made his last appearance at Crufts and has now retired.
Nigel and Jo Howarth, of The Meadows, Hellifield, also picked up a first prize with their dog Gunalt Suspense at Caleydene in the special yearling category.
Other successful entrants included Mr R and Mrs J Smith and Huck, of Cook House Farm, Glusburn, who scooped first postgraduate dog with a Lancashire Heeler, Leyeside Butler; Mrs J Gillam, of Schoolmaster Farm, Silsden Moor, who won first special veteran dog with Border Terrier Orenberg Nightfreight; and Mr C Pollard, of Hayhills, Silsden, who won first limit dog with his Irish Terrier, Lynphen Red Paddy.
Meanwhile, Skipton town councillor Polly English and her husband Paul picked up a second in the postgraduate dog section for their Kerry Blue Terrier, Everton Blues At Sionsilva, better known by its pet name Merlin.
Polly told the Herald she has been showing Kerry Blue Terriers since 1976, but this year's show was extra special because she had actually judged this year's Cruft's Best in Show, the Kerry Blue Terrier, Torums Scarf Michael at a show 18 months ago.
Other Craveners who picked up second places included Mr J and S Burke, of Kelbrook Road, Barnoldswick, who won second limit bitch with their Irish Setter, Carek Golden Glow; and Mrs R A Heap who won a second special junior dog with her Borzoi, Rae Damron. She also picked up a third in the special yearling dog category with her Borzoi, Rae Sumthinelse.
Mrs P Robinson, of Lairgill, Bentham, won second postgraduate bitch with her Miniature Pinscher, Kilmuir Caramel Cookie At Palidew; and Mr P and Mrs L, Mr I and Mrs S Jon, of Dale Head, Lothersdale, took the second postgraduate dog with their Hamiltonstovare, Pedisjip Kalmar Warrior. Miss H Edmondson, of Burnside Avenue, Skipton, won second open bitch with her Pointer, Calderside Love In A Mist At Wherathy.
