A museum is preparing an exhibition which will explore Craven's Celtic past.
Life in the first century AD will be revealed in the exhibition at Craven Museum in High Street, Skipton, from April 14 to September 30.
Craven District Museum's Officer, Siobhan Kirrane, said: "It will be complemented by the most ambitious programme of educational workshops and events ever mounted by the museum."
A museum outreach officer, financed by £80,000 which Craven District Council won from the heritage lottery fund, will help with the project.
The programme includes an interactive computer system installed in January - with cash help from Yorkshire and Humberside Museums Council - which gives visitors an introduction to the geology and archaeology of Craven.
The programme aims to improve educational provision at the museum through the development of teacher resources, family activities and life-long learning opportunities. The plan is also to take items from the museum's collection on tour across the area.
