Peace has broken out in a war of words between the trustees of a community centre and the pre-school they once threatened to evict.
Greenacre Pre-School in Rawdon say they have sorted out their differences with the trustees of Greenacre Community Hall.
Last December, concern arose over the trustees' apparent threat to evict the pre-school over Christmas unless they committed to the site.
But since then, the pre-school's committee has been restructured and has new members and a new pre-school leader, Judith Pears, has been appointed.
Secretary Maria Coulson said all the new committee did to resolve the situation was sit down and discuss the issues with the trustees and come to an amicable agreement.
"Once we'd contacted them, we found that there weren't really any great difficulties to sort out," she said.
"With the dedication and support of parents, staff and Greenacre management committee, the future's certainly 'greener' for the children."
Pre-school chairman Andrea Benson has outlined the group's aims for promoting and maximising the full resources of the pre-school and the hall, as well as looking at extending daily and term opening times.
The community hall's trustees have welcomed the developments and added that they are looking forward to working with the pre-school in the future.
