A newspaper which features things to do and see in the Yorkshire Dales is expected to be read by 500,000 people.
Visitor 2000 is produced by the Yorkshire Dales National Park and is now available at national park centres throughout the park.
The 32-page newspaper contains a full listing of the Out & About 2000 guided walks and events organised by the national park and six pages of village and agricultural shows, sports and other events.
Cassandra Tebb, national park communications officer, said: "It's cram-packed with information on all aspects of national park life, as well as a comprehensive events listing.
"It features local crafts and produce, and accommodation options for those travelling from further afield."
The newspaper can also be obtained from tourist information centres, pubs and hotels.
Converted for the new archive on 30 June 2000. Some images and formatting may have been lost in the conversion.
