Rugby Union: Bradford and Bingley could be calling on fourth teamers at Wigton tomorrow.
The Bees, whose hopes of second place in Thwaites North Division One seem to have gone, have been decimated by injuries and unavailability.
Coach Colin Hay says: "Ben Greaves (scrum half) dislocated his shoulder last Saturday against Stockton, and Asa Firth (right wing) and John Vinnicombe (prop) will be missing too. Scrum half Mike Baldwin is in China."
Baildon lost 81-5 in a club match at Ilkley last weekend, but it wasn't all bad news.
Old Rishworthians only needed to win only one of their last four Yorkshire Division Three matches to condemn Baildon to the drop.
But Baildon beat the Halifax club 17-15 in a thriller at Jenny Lane two weeks ago, and last Saturday Rish played their game in hand and went down 21-20 at home to Barnsley.
Now Baildon need to win their last two and Rish lose their last two for the Bradford club to avoid playing in the revamped Yorkshire Four North - the bottom division - next season. While sixth-placed Rish are at home to next-to-bottom Hessle, bottom-club Baildon have a trip to third-placed Moortown.
"We are without Matt Williams with the broken ankle he suffered against Ilkley last weekend," said Baildon coach Kenny Pollard. "Ben Dobbs moves to fly half and Andy Whitley comes in at full back. Jim Hutton is in for Richard Crooks in the second row, and Jason Taylor replaces Dave Wilde on the right wing."
