The firms behind the Telegraph & Argus and Bradford-based Yorkshire Cable have teamed up to offer an exciting new service.
Internet firm Fish4.co.uk - a joint venture involving Telegraph & Argus owners Newsquest - has signed a deal with Telewest to become a key provider on its Active Digital interactive TV service.
From May 25, Fish4's leading online services Fish4homes, Fish4cars, Fish4jobs and Fish4directory will be available using the Telewest News and Directory Channel.
The new deal allows people to look at details about homes, cars and jobs on the Internet using their television rather than a PC.
The Fish4 websites were set up by Newsquest, Northcliffe Newspapers, Trinity Mirror, Guardian Media Group Regional Newspapers, Regional Independent Media and Bristol United Press.
Jonathan Turpin, chief executive of Fish4, said: "This is Fish4's first partnership deal with the interactive TV service and provides us with a great opportunity to broaden our potential audience and gain long-term exposure.
"Fish4's strategy is to make its services available to the widest range of people via as many platforms as possible," he added.
