A modelling club has announced the first winner of a new annual award made in honour of one its founder members.
Keighley Plastic Model Club has presented the Eddie Findlay Memorial Trophy to club member George Creek
His model of a Renault Magnum Ice Truck was judged by Eddie's parents to be the best on show. He received the award at the Keighley Model Railway Show earlier this month in Victoria Hall.
Second place went to John Place for his Kenny Roberts motorcycle, with Natalie Bailey scooping third prize for her impressive prototype Stealth bomber model. The new award has been set up in memory of Mr Findlay, a co-founder of the club, who died last year.
The club meets next on Thursday, April 13, at the Victoria Hotel, Cavendish Street at 8pm
