Sky TV's soccer roadshow featuring Rodney Marsh has been cancelled.
Sky has dropped its plans for the Bradford event for logistical reasons.
The roadshow was planned for the city's Hilton Hotel (formerly the Stakis) on Tuesday, May 9.
Marsh, whose outspoken comments saying City would be relegated this season have upset Bantams fans, was to have appeared with fellow Sky pundits Chris Kamara, Frank McLintock and Clive Allen.
But now organisers of the Gillette Soccer Saturday Road-show have cancelled the event after discovering Bradford City are planning their annual Player Of The Year awards the night before.
"We felt it wasn't sensible to hold the roadshow the night after that," said a spokesman.
"We couldn't find another suitable date around that time so we thought it was best to cancel.
"We're disappointed because the roadshows are good events which the fans who come really enjoy.
"Rodney is disappointed because he was looking forward to it."
However, the controversial pundit is standing by his pledge to have his head shaved for charity on the Valley Parade pitch if City avoid relegation.
He made the promise earlier in the season after predicting the Bantams' swift return to Division One.
"The head shave will definitely go ahead if City stay up," confirmed a spokesman for Marsh.
The pundit says he would like to raise money for under-privileged children in Bradford if he goes through with the hair-erasing experience.
