Wyke Wanderers suffered a major blow when they lost at home to lowly White Swan.
It was a tough defeat to take after 26 straight wins, but Wanderers were well beaten.
They found White Swan in resolute mood and they played particularly well to hold out for a 2-1 win.

Shoulder of Mutton clinched the runners-up spot in Division 3A without kicking a ball.
Ring O'Bells Shipley slumped to a 2-0 defeat at home to Hare & Hounds 2000 and cannot now catch Shoulder. Chris Harrison scored in each half to leave Hounds chasing third place.
Crofts had an own goal to thank for giving them the lead at home to Eccleshill Sports but they conceded an equaliser and had to settle for a point.
Heaton United are close to clinching the Division 4A championship.
Heaton were rarely troubled as they knocked Lithuanian Rovers off the top, Sajid Shah netting a hat-trick in the 5-2 win.
Mohammed Arif and Inman Ghaffar scored the others.
BMS Autocentres finished their season with nine straight victories, which bodes well for next season.
Paul Hickey got both goals in their 2-0 win at Post Office Reserves. BMS should now finish in fourth place.
Matt Greenhoff scored twice and Tony Bestwick got the other for Harps International as they won 3-1 at Oakworth Juniors.
