Bradford Schools' annual fixture against Glasgow could be scrapped this year because they have nowhere to play.
The match between the two cities at Under-19s level has been staged for more than a hundred years with Scotland's national stadium Hampden Park hosting the away fixtures.
Up until a few years ago Valley Parade used to be the venue for the match, but that is no longer available for Bradford Schools to use.
But with little more than three weeks to go, joint team manager Paul Ryan, who played in the fixture himself just three years ago, admitted they were still searching for a suitable venue.
"We have tried many different clubs but without success," said the 22-year-old sports assistant at Oakbank School, Keighley.
"Bradford City no longer feel able to accommodate the game, Keighley Cougars say they need a football licence to stage the fixture and it is the final day of the season for the top Non League clubs so they are either playing at home or their reserve team is playing.
"The County FA headquarters at was another we considered, but they have cup finals on the night before and the following day, so it is not suitable.
"It seems a great pity that when we go to Scotland we play at their national stadium and when they come down here to play we are scraping around to find a pitch.
"All we are trying to do is raise the profile of Bradford Schools football. If we cannot find a suitable pitch it is in danger of not taking place at all."
The match is due for an 11am kick off and anyone who can offer a venue should contact Paul Ryan on 01535 609155 or at Oakbank School (01535 210111).
"We are also desperate for sponsorship help as it costs around £1,000 to stage a game like this, and anyone who can help us out should get in touch," added Ryan.
