The first final of the Wharfedale FA Junior Cup for 25 years will take place on the ground of Otley Town, Pool Road, Otley, on Good Friday , April 21, (kick-off 6.30pm). This Skylark Leisure sponsored competition has been resurrected this season and is for teams under-16.
The final is between Baildon Trinity Athletic Juniors and Rawdon Old Boys Juniors and it is hoped that a good-sized crowd will support the competition. The admission price is £1 and it will be free for children and senior citizens. The referee will be Fred Green of Guiseley and his assistants Reid Haddow of Yeadon and Adrian Powell, of Ilkley. The fourth official will be Des Lobley, of Burley-in-Wharfedale.
