Keighley cricketers returned to Yorkshire this week after a successful tour to Pakistan.
Members of the Keighley Cricket Academy played three day-night matches. They were able to watch the finals of the world famous Coca Cola Trophy at the impressive Sarjah Stadium, and then step out on to the turf for their own match.
"It was a superb tour which really flew the flag for the Keighley Cricket Academy," said organiser Sarwar Kamal. "We now hope to organise another visit next year when England, India and Pakistan will be playing in the tournament."
"We played three games and although we only won one it was a great experience. All the games were day-night matches, but the floodlights were so good it was impossible to tell when darkness fell -- until they turned the lights off."
The Keighley-based team's match was watched by Pakistan cricketing legend Hanif Mohammed, a former world record holder with 499 runs in an innings and a top Test score for 362, who presented the players with a souvenir of the game.
