Long Lee Under-10's A chose the wrong time to have an off day. They failed to get out of the starting blocks against top of the table Queensbury and went down 8-0. Declan King was named man of the match.
Long Lee Under-7's recorded another victory against Wyke with a 4-0 home win. They were not at their best in the first half, went in at half time with a one-goal lead. A much better performance in the second period saw them get three more with a much better display. Wyke had one attempt at goal, which was saved well by Aqieeb Khan. Scorers for Long Lee were Joseph Mitchell, Luke Narey, Lewis Roberts and man of the match Shaun Quinlan.
Long Lee Under-9's A secured the league championship after a 1-1 draw with Shipley. Both teams observed a minute's silence in tribute to the two Leeds United supporters killed in Turkey before the game. Matthew Miller and Patrick King came close before Shipley took the lead. Long Lee brought on an extra striker to force an equaliser and Tom Tetley earned the point they needed. Manager Ray Rickaby said: "I am delighted for the lads, they have all played magnificently and remain unbeaten. To have conceded only six goals in their 18 games."
Long Lee Under-9's B suffered their second defeat of the season, going down 2-0 to Shipley. Goalkeeper Sam Dickerson made some fine saves, Oliver Haughey and Zachary Pearson went close, but despite hard work from Luke Anlezark and Jordan Clarke in midfield Shipley sealed victory. Long Lee now have to rely on Shipley losing one of their remaining games if they are to win take the title.
Silsden Under-10's A clinched the Norman Bairstow League title when they beat Shipley 2-1. Man of the match Robert Wardley scoring both goals in a good all round performance.
Silsden Under-10's B went down 2-0 to Shipley. Ban Sagar was man of the match and there were also good performances from Jacub Fessenfeld and Joe Murgatroyd.
Wyke were too strong for Silsden Under-11's B who went down 6-0 despite a man of the match performance from Nick Emblem.
Silsden Under-11's A were beaten 4-0 by Wyke. Luke Binns was man of the match and there were also good performances from Luke Lockwood and Chris Baines.
Silsden Under-11's B twice came from behind to beat Shipley 3-2. Scorers were Andy Cooke (2) and Nick Emblem with Chris Farnworth man of the match.
Silsden Under-11's A were 3-0 up at half time against Cowling and survived a strong second half fight-back Silsden scorers were Scott Greenwood, Philip Dawson and Chris Oldcorn. Luke Binns was man of the match.
Silsden Under-11's B went down 3-0 to Wyke. Ben Campbell was man of the match and there were good performances from Chris Baines and Andy Smith.
Oakworth Under-7's A beat Eldwick 11-0 with a spectacular second half display. They were 2-0 up at the break and then really turned up the heat. Goals came from Matthew Moore (4), George Turner (4), Luke Chapman (2) and Joseph Alvey while Thomas Hudson was man of the match.
Oakworth Under-7's B played out an exciting 0-0 draw with Wilsden. Ryan Humphries had an excellent game in midfield which earned him the man of the match award and was well supported by a fine team effort.
Oakworth Under-8's A played some of their best football of the season to beat Long Lee 7-3. Goals came from Ben Lamb (3) and Kane Scott (2) and Brannon Lawn (2).
Oakworth Under-8's B beat Long Lee 1-0. Chris Renwick was on form up front and scored the winning goal. From then on Oaks had to defend for long periods but held out to win.
Oakworth Under-10's A played some good football in the first half before going down 7-1 at Thornton. Adam Marks scored the only goal with a clever chip over the keeper.
Oakworth Under-10's B beat Thornton 4-2, two goals in the first two minutes ensured Oaks were always in control. Thornton fought back late in the game, but it was too late. Goals came from Paul Owens (2), Thomas Thompson and Joe hall.
Oakworth Under-10's C pushed Shipley all the way before losing out 2-1. James Natynczyk led the Oaks team with a fine goal before sloppy defending let in Shipley for a second half winner.
Long Lee Under-13's B completed their league programme by extending their unbeaten run to five games. Driven forward by captain and man of the match Thomas Abberton they opened the scoring with a Thomas Gill volley and added further goals from Stefan Risidi, Luke Brier and James Pearson (2) who took his tally to 30 for the season.
