WHARFEDALE sides have reached two cup finals this week - but the Foresters faced the disappointment of defeat in the Yorkshire Cup in terrible conditions at Otley.
The Development XV's reward for their gritty victory at Yarnbury on Monday in the semi-final of the Aire-Wharfe Cup will be a match against Bradford Salem, at Bradford on Monday, kick-off 6.45. Bradford Salem play their league rugby in Yorkshire One and have already beaten Yarnbury this season in the Yorkshire Shield and, with home advantage, will provide a stern test.
The Fourths, comprehensive winners against Malton and Norton on Sunday, have yet to learn opponents or venue for the climax to the North Yorkshire Cup, but the match will take place on Sunday, May 7.
