TIME has been called on Ashfield House , a former 19th century public house in Otley. The Grade II listed building, set in 3.5 acres of mature grounds, was bought by Joshua Tetley and Son in 1948 for use originally as a pub and latterly as a training centre. Built in 1816, Ashfield House is on the market for offers above £450,000, which includes a further seven acres of land and long-term redevelopment possibilities. David Ogilvie, director at Dacre, Son and Hartley's commercial offices in Leeds, who is acting for clients Punch Retail, said: "This is a substantial Georgian mansion offering 7,000 square feet of accommodation with enormous potential for a variety of uses including residential conversion, offices, educational purposes or a pub or hotel, subject to appropriate planning permission."
