Accountant Carmel Sacco is taking a break from number crunching to go on his sixth sponsored walk in aid of the British Epilepsy Association.
The 46-year-old, of Staveley Road, will be joined by other fundraisers for a seven-mile walk around the Ilkley area.
The walk will be held on Sunday, May 21, at 10am.
Former Great Britain athletics team captain Linford Christie and GMTV presenter Lorraine Kelly are supporting association's eighth sponsored walk.
Organisers hope it will help to combat the stigma of epilepsy, which affects nearly 500,000 people in the UK.
The British Epilepsy Association is celebrating its Golden Jubilee this year. It campaigns to change attitudes about the condition and offers a range of services which have eased the lives of many sufferers.
The money raised by the walk will help to keep those services operating so that BEA can continue to build a better future for those living with epilepsy.
