SANDY LANE opened up the race for the Premier Division title with a 4-1 victory over St Annes Celtic in the Wharfedale Sunday League.
Lane took a 2-0 first half lead before Jimmy Spencer pulled one back before half time. After the break they took a firm grip on the game with Richard Hibbert completing his hat-trick and Dave Strathie adding the fourth.
