FIVE young cricketers from Yeadon CC have been named in the Leeds City boys squads at their age groups. Yeadon's James Todd, who played for Leeds City last season, is named in the Under-15 squad along with Otley's Richard Smith. Both boys are aged 14 and attend St Mary's RC School, Menston.
Thirteen year-old David Wilkinson from Pool-in-Wharfedale, has been selected for the Under-13 squad. A pupil at Prince Henry's Grammar School David has also been training with the Yorkshire Under-13 squad.
Brothers Robert,10, and David Amos, 7, have been selected for the Under-11 squad. Both boys attend Bramhope Primary School.
James and Richard are expected to play second team cricket with Yeadon this season whilst David Wilkinson will widen his experience by playing for Pool Mills seconds.
