Thirteen-year-old 13-handicapper Alistair Houldsworth scored his first hole in one at Keighley's par-three 14th on Friday.
The talented youngster, who has been playing golf for two years, said he was shaking as he and his friends watched his five-iron shot bounce once before disappearing down the hole.
Alistair is a member of a golf-mad family, with dad Ian and older brother Liam both playing at Keighley Golf Club. Liam, 17, who plays off three handicap, scored a two on the same hole the following day on his way to winning the April Medal. But Ian, who plays off three, let the side down with a seven.
A talented footballer as well as golfer, Alistair is having final trials with Halifax Town and Oldham.
n Sponsors and entries are still being sought for the charity golf day being held at Keighley Golf Club in aid of Manorlands on September 8. Entry is £100 per team of four. Contact Chris or Les on 01535 606320 for details or to register.
