Two sixth-form pupils have been flown home in disgrace from their school's Easter trip to Amsterdam.
Today Hanson Upper School said it will hold a full inquiry into allegations about the pupils' alleged misconduct.
The teenagers, who the school has refused to name, should have arrived home at the end of the week with their classmates.
But a decision was taken to fly them back early to Leeds-Bradford Airport yesterday because of their alleged misconduct.
They were in a party of 50 sixth-formers who were on a visit and football tour in Holland.
Deputy headteacher Susan Horsley refused to give details about the nature of the pupils' misconduct but she said the pair had failed to meet the "clearly expressed conditions and expectations for the trip."
She added: "A full investigation will be made into the allegations when the school comes back next week.
"It has been running for five years now, with no regrettable incidents. The rest of the party kept the high standards of behaviour and co-operation."
The mother of one of the pupils - a 17-year-old girl - said: "It is a personal matter. I don't want to comment."
The school's chairman of governors Sue Williamson also refused to comment about the incident.
Hanson Upper - a foundation school - was the first in Bradford last year to formally drop its grant-maintained status and move back under the control of the Council as a foundation school.
