A bridle path which passes across Keighley Moor has been renamed the Mary Towneley Loop.
This is in recognition of the campaigning work that Lady Mary Towneley has carried out in developing the bridleway network in the North of England.
At a ceremony the Princess Royal presented Lady Towneley with a specially commissioned map of the Mary Towneley Loop - formerly the South Pennine Loop - which is a circular route of 44 miles passing through Keighley Moor, Calderdale, Rochdale and Lancashire.
It forms part of the Pennine Bridleway.
Chris Dodd, regional director of the Sport England Lottery Fund, which contributed over a million pounds towards the creation of the Pennine Bridleway, says: "The Pennine Bridleway represents a fantastic new opportunity for horse riders, cyclists and long distance enthusiasts to enjoy a new challenge."
