A woman who set up a travel fund in memory of her husband and two sons who died in the Bradford City Fire is appealing for more people to use it.
Hazel Greenwood's husband Peter and her two sons Rupert, 11, and Felix, 13, were among the 56 victims of the fire disaster at Valley Parade on May 11, 1985.
But now the fund she set up to help other youngsters in her home village of Denholme to broaden their horizons by travelling, which her sons enjoyed doing, has too few people asking to use it.
Mrs Greenwood said: "Denholme is quite a remote village I wanted young people to have the opportunity to travel.
"There's quite a sizeable sum of money waiting to be used so I would welcome any applications. There may be young people from Denholme who need money to go on school or education trips.
"So far we have given amounts of up to £200 to various people."
But she has emphasised that the money should be put towards rather culturally-enriching experience rather than a drinking holiday in Tenerife.
Since the fund was set up in 1993 it has paid for one boy to attend an international scouting jamboree in Chile and for another student to travel to the USA to take part in the Camp America programme.
The trust is open to people aged between 13 and 25 and living in Denholme.
One of the people who has benefited from the fund is 20-year-old Tracey Brotherton, who was able to travel to Germany on a school trip after receiving a grant.
Tracey, who now lives in Shipley, said: "My mum and dad were finding it hard with money and I wouldn't have been able to go on the trip.
"But one of my mum's friends mentioned to her about the trust so we applied and they paid for the trip and gave me some spending money. I wouldn't have been able to go if it wasn't for the help I got from Hazel. It was a brilliant experience and the only time I've ever been abroad.
"I'm quite shocked that not that many people have used it because it's such a good idea for underprivileged kids.
"There are so many kids in Denholme who could take advantage of the trust.
"It's good that something positive has come out of the tragedy. I think it's amazing what Hazel has achieved."
