Bulls coach Matthew Elliott had his players straight back into training yesterday despite a hectic round of celebrations following Saturday's Challenge Cup final triumph.
And he had a message for those expecting them to suffer a Murrayfield hangover starting at Hull tomorrow night - "That won't happen with this coach and this team.
"Winning on Saturday was the highlight of my sporting career and the same goes for the players.
"But the elation of winning it won't last as long as the bitter disappointment of losing last year's Grand Final.
"We have a responsibility to help the fans celebrate the success and we will be showing off the trophy again on Sunday against Wakefield.
"But I know how exhausting it was in 1997 with all the attention and the pats on the back.
"We have to now start to focus on winning the Grand Final.
"The fans have a role to play in helping us do that. We need to all keep our feet on the ground and reach for the next target. I know I have the coaching staff and the players who will do that.
"We have a short preparation time for the Hull game but we have to make the best possible use of that time and we will.

"There will be no slackening off. We are going to go there and win."
Elliott is still weighing up his selection options but says: "There is no point in having a squad with the quality we have and not using it.
"I know from previous experience that players who I rest will turn away muttering expletives under their breath, but we have to use our resources to the maximum."
And young back-rower Rob Parker is set to profit from that policy by being handed his senior debut at the Boulevard, probably from the bench.
"He has been in sensational form with the Academy and Alliance sides and more than deserves his chance," said Elliott.
"I know I have likened him to Bernard Dwyer in the past but I don't want to overburden him at this stage.
"Rob probably has a little bit more pace although Bernard will probably tell you he was once the quickest player in the club. I just think he has a great future ahead of him."
Elliott is also set to call on Murrayfield absentees Paul Deacon, Justin Brooker and Hudson Smith tomorrow night.
Hull officials have called for Bulls fans to travel in big numbers tomorrow despite previous problems with a section of Boulevard supporters.
Media manager Helen Simpson said: "We have made a massive effort to clean up our image following the incidents at the Challenge Cup semi-final and we are sure Bradford fans will notice a complete change in the atmosphere."
