FOUR of the clubs new to the Airedale and Wharfedale League this season have made it through to the second round of the Waddilove Cup which will be played on Sunday. It will be a chance for the new boys to show what they are made of with Bardsey entertaining Green Lane, Pool visiting Burley, Thackley entertaining Horsforth and Woodhouse entertaining Beckwithshaw.

Guiseley, who defeated trophy holders Steeton in the first round, face a clash with lcoal rivals Otley at Nethermoor Park and with Guiseley riding high in Division A Otley appear to have little chance of making it to the second round. However, this is the cup after all and shocks historically take place in every round so who knows.

An interesting battle is that in north Leeds where Adel play hosts to North Leeds and on league form Division A leaders Adel will be expected to win.

Bilton play host to Skipton while Rawdon should make Division A status count when they entertain Collingham.

In the Birtwhistle Cup Guiseley are aiming for a hat-trick of wins with Otley attempting to stop them in Sunday's second round.

Again four Division C sides - newcomers to the league this season - are involved with Colton entertaining Bilton, Pool entertaining Burley, Pool Mills entertaining Ilkley and Kirkstall visiting Bewckwithshaw.

The much fancied Rawdon take the trip to Collingham while Illingworth entertain Knaresborough and North Leeds entertain Adel.
