We have made a change to the layout of the Keighley News this week - as a result of a letter from a reader. She pointed out the difficulty she regularly had in finding the entertainments adverts.

The ads, she says, were mixed up with others, and it made life difficult when trying to check what events were on locally and then cross-referencing them to our extremely popular Knights Out page.

Her suggestion was that we put the two together. It isn't quite as simple as it sounds, but we had a meeting and, starting this week, we have put the entertainments ads on the bottom of the Knights Out page.

The Stars, chemist rota, Diary Dates and Meeting Point have moved to either the Family News Page or the page opposite - this week on Page 31 for example.

It now means that in the second section of the KN we have a package of BMD's, Family News, competitions, TV guide, Entertainments guide and our Village News pages which are always jam-packed with local information.

The index on the front of the second section points to all of these pages.

In all honesty the re-positioning of such information was on our list for strategic review. But thanks to the reader, her comments spurred us into acting more quickly.

I am more than grateful to the reader, and I hope this shows that we do listen to your concerns and when necessary take appropriate action.
