City of Bradford came away from York City Baths Club's Jorvik Graded Meet with 11 golds, 11 silvers and seven bronze medals.

Leading the way for Bradford, who had some excellent performances, were 19-year-old Lindsey battle and Neil Farmer, 16.

Both were competing in the 16-and-over age group.

Lindsey took golds in the 50 metres and 100m breaststroke and the 50m freestyle.

Neil won the 50m and 100m breaststroke and the 50m butterfly.

He also took a silver in the 50m freestyle, behind his team-mate Jonathan Greenwood by 0.13sec.

Jonathan's other gold came in the 50m backstroke, and he took silver in the 100m backstroke and freestyle.

Other golds for Bradford went to Sarah George, 14, in the 50m butterfly, Jemma Senczyszyn, 14, in the 100m individual medley, and Jenny Soames, 12, in the 50m butterfly.

Sarah and Jenny won another silver and bronze medal each, Sarah in the 50m backstroke and 100m individual medley, and Jenny in the 50m backstroke and freestyle.

In the youngest age group, three City of Bradford swimmers won medals - Kirsty Richardson with silver in the 50m and 100m individual medley, Cary Senczyszyn who won bronze in the 100m individual medley, and Brendon Watson, ten, who took silver in the 50m backstroke on his first meet away from Bradford.
