The trial of four men accused of kidnapping Bradford toddler Daniel Grimshaw started this afternoon.
Daniel, now 21 months old, was snatched from his mother Amy Grimshaw as they walked home through Wrose on November 9 last year.
The four men, including Daniel's uncle Mohammed Arshad, were arrested after the toddler was reunited with his family in January.
Their trial was due to get under way at Bradford Crown Court this afternoon and was expected to last two weeks.
Arshad, 29, of Killinghall Road, Bradford Moor, Bradford, will stand trial with Christopher Kellet, 26, of Swain House Crescent, Swain House, Bradford; Denis Hunter, 40, of Reyner House, Manchester Road, Bradford; and Khalid Mah-mood Khan, 26, whose address cannot be printed for legal reasons.
