An RAF Mountain Rescue team is looking for hillwalkers in the Bradford district to join them next month for the famous Three Peaks Challenge.
The weekend event in aid of the Imperial Cancer Research Fund will see the RAF Leeming group guiding volunteers along the gruelling 25-mile route.
The challenge involves a climb of more than 5,000 feet while attempting to conquer Pen-Y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in North Yorkshire.
Regional fundraising manager Helen Robertson said: "We can guarantee a fantastic weekend under the expert supervision of RAF Leeming's Mountain Rescue Team.
"Completing the event is an amazing personal achievement, whilst raising funds for the Imperial Cancer Research Fund also helps those who have been touched by cancer."
After completing the hike, walkers will be rewarded with a barbecue and presentation ceremony.
Places for the challenge, which starts on Saturday, July 8, are limited.
