Yeadon pace bowler Darren Murray grabbed the first hat-trick of his career when he helped put Lidget Green out for 108 on Saturday.
Murray, the former Guiseley and Rawdon bowler who at one time had his pace increased under the scheme run by international athletics coach Wilf Paish, rocked Lidget with a 6-26 return off 13.3 overs.
He dismissed opener W Munawar with the score on 8 and then ripped the heart out of the innings by taking the next three wickets with the score remaining on nine. T Butt, N Ashraf and T Khan all fell victim to Murray in successive balls, two bowled and one lbw, to leave the visitors at 9-4.
They then recovered somewhat through the efforts of A Farooq (15) and N Rana (13) who took the score to 33 before Naeem Khan took the first of his four wickets.
A brave rearguard knock of 23 by N Hanif helped the score along but Lidget were finally out for 108 in 42.3 overs.
Craig Thornton was back in action after an injury lay off and he bowled economically taking 0-7 off six overs while Khan finished with 4-43 off 15.
Yeadon lost opener Simon Gormley without scoring but his fellow opener Neil Elvidge was in good nick and he made 42 as Yeadon coasted to a six wickets win.

Elsewhere in Division One Bradford and Bingley skipper Patrick Fordham was well disgusted with his batsmen who backed away from Brighouse quickie Faisal Afridi.
The Bees were dismissed for 91 with Fordham, who has faced some of the fastest bowlers in the world whilst captaining Hong Kong in the World Sixes, making 31 and the extras 21. Besides Fordham only opener Carl Sharp with 16 and Mark Best with 13 reached double figures.
Pudsey St Lawrence's Otley-raised bowler Cameron Bailey took 4-27 as Windhill were dismissed for 141. Pudsey went on to win by six wickets.
Former Benton Park School player Chris Taylor made an unbeaten 93 opening for Farsley in their six wickets win over Hanging Heaton.
Esholt continued their push for promotion in Division by rocking high flying Spen Victoria and they have now leapfrogged them in the table on wins acheived as they have the same number of points.
Free scoring Aussie Grant Lambert, who already has well over a thousand league and cup runs to his name this season, was bowled by Ben Lister without scoring. Lister went on to take 5-40 as Spen were put out for 103. He was well supported with a 3-10 burst by Andrew Luxton.
Lambert tried to make ammends for his batting failure with a decisive bowling stint but his 4-45 failed to stop Esholt who had Talek Alam hammering an unbeaten 60 and Danny Gaunt an unbeaten 30 as victory was gained with 12 overs to spare.
