An inquest into the death of Jonathan Danskin, whose body was recovered from the River Wharfe five weeks after he went missing, is to be resumed on July 5.
The inquest on the 28-year-old self-employed joiner, who lived at Guiseley and was known as Jono, was opened and adjourned in Harrogate in March 1999.
Mr Danskin vanished during the early hours of January 31 last year after running into the river at Otley when his car was approached by police.
His disappearance sparked a massive search in which the police were joined by members of the public in scouring the local countryside.
But his body was found at Kearby, near Harewood, just over a month later and a post-mortem examination by a Home Office pathologist revealed he had drowned.
