Work to link health services to improve services for patients has been started in Keighley.
The Keighley Healthy Living Network has been launched to put health staff and services in touch with each other and co-ordinate schemes.
Chief officer Caroline Schwaller said: "We will be doing a lot of work with practitioners to try and support patients and provide radical ways of prescribing care.
"The network is more than an information centre - it can provide a focus for health promotion, healthy living initiatives and complimentary care."
The project is currently based at Keighley Voluntary Service's headquarters in Skipton Road.
It aims to become a new charitable organisation with its own base in Keighley town centre.
The scheme has been funded with a £110,000 grant from Keighley SRB, which will cover start up costs.
The organisation is now looking to strengthen partnerships with Airedale Primary Care Group, Airedale NHS Trust, social services and Bradford Health Action Zone, which uses a specific pot of Government money to initiate health projects.
