Detectives were today investigating the suspicious death of a teenage girl after her body was found in a Bradford flat.
Detectives from Toller Lane CID were called to the flat in St Paul's Road, Manningham, Bradford, at 9.30am today.
The body of the girl, believed to be aged about 18, was discovered by a neighbour.
The area was cordoned off and a uniformed police officer guarded the door while detectives carried out inquiries at the scene.
Detective Chief Inspector Phil Sedgwick said the girl's identity was known, but was not being released at this stage.
He said: "At this stage we are treating the death as suspicious. The girl was found alone in the first floor flat by a neighbour.
"A post-mortem examination was being carried out this afternoon. A decision on whether or not to bring in forensic specialists will be taken once the cause of death is established."
