A programme of music and drama, staged to raise money for Amnesty International, kicks off in Rawdon this weekend.
The Rawdon Amnesty Concerts begin on Saturday with a production of Stuart Fortey's play The Kaiser and I by members of the Theatre of the Dales.
The free performance at the Rawdon Quaker Meeting House in Quaker Lane gets under way at 7.30pm.
A total of nine events are to be staged at the same venue between now and December. Saturday's curtain raiser will be followed by a Teddy Bears Picnic event for youngsters and their parents at 3pm on Saturday, July 15.
Other events over the coming months include a variety of concerts ranging from brass band and folk music to poetry and the music of the 16th century.
The series concludes on December 2 with the Theatre of the Dales' interpretation of Dickens' seasonal tale, A Christmas Carol.
Admission to all the events is free but collections will be made at each in aid of Amnesty International.
