From the Telegraph & Argus of July 7, 1975... A petition of 500 names has been submitted to the Council by Coun John Elliott on behalf of the Kart Club, asking the local authority for more practice sessions after a recent decision which restricted the number of days on which they could practice.
From the Telegraph & Argus of July 7, 1950...A crowd of over 2,000 saw a display of big hitting by Yorkshire left-hander Vic Wilson, when a Bradford League XI played the county side in a Len Hutton benefit match at Undercliffe last night. Wilson hit 72 in 37 minutes, including eight fours and four sixes. Hutton (38) made it 101 in half an hour.
