Two of Keighley's top tourist draws have won praise in a European debate.
The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway and East Riddlesden Hall were commended in a speech at the Europa Nostra Congress in Prague.
Local MP Ann Cryer - attending the event as a representative of the Council of Europe's cultural heritage sub-committee - paid tribute to the efforts of staff at both attractions.
She told the heritage debate that the K&WVR's preservation society boasted a devoted group of volunteers who carried out a lot of work with little outside financial help.
And she praised some of the improvements and new attractions at East Riddlesden Hall, which she described as 'a gem of a hall.'
Mrs Cryer said she hoped delegates from all over Europe would visit West Yorkshire - and the Keighley area in particular - for their holidays.
