Keighley's Simon Jowitt finished fifth in the Bradford 36-hole stroke-play championships at Northcliffe on Sunday with rounds of 71 and 76.
Richard Wheatley from Bingley St Ives was sixth, a shot back after rounds of 72 and 76. The event was won by Andy Dufton of Woodhall Hills, who carded 72 and 67 to finish five shots clear of the field.
Keighley's Tony Lush and John Currie won the Bradford Union charities fourball final at Skipton with a superb 61. In second place were Keighley pair David Longbottom and Martin Firth on 62, while Branshaw's Brian Jefferson and Terry Boland were fifth on 63.
Branshaw's team has won its division in the Lawrence Batley Seniors League for over 55s, finishing one point ahead of Elland after a successful 14-match season. The four division winners qualify for the semi-final play-offs, with Branshaw taking on South Bradford at Dewsbury Golf Club today for a place in the final.
