Three Telegraph & Argus reporters are top of the crops after having a close shave for charity.
Charles Heslett, Jim Jack and Drew Kendell, pictured left to right, were backing the T&A's campaign to Baldly Go With Rodney Marsh by having their locks shorn.
The three were given grade two crops at Bennett's Barbers, in Bolton Road, Bradford, yesterday, raising more than £200 for the Bradford Burns Unit in the process.
Soccer pundit Rodney, who promised to have his hair cropped if Bradford City survived in the Premier League last season, will go under the razor on the Valley Parade pitch before the Bantam's match against Leicester City on Saturday.
Barber Michael Bennett, who helped the reporters' fundraising efforts yesterday, said: "I'm sure they will all look better for it. And I'm sure the girls will love it too. It's a very fashionable look.
"Most importantly, though, I think the Bradford fans and the Burns Unit will appreciate what they've done."
After the shave, Drew, said: "I look like Kojak, Who loves ya baby! But I'm still glad I did it because it's all for a good cause.
Charles, said: "Now I know how Yul Brynner felt, but I don't think he was a Bradford supporter. Is there any way of sticking it back on?"
Jim, said: "I quite liked my hair - but it's good to do something like this to help such a deserving cause."
Speaking after the shave Rodney Marsh said: "Sensational! I want to thank these reporters very much for their commitment to what we're doing and to the Burns' Unit for continuing to support the whole thing. I hope more Bradford supporters will do the same."
And chairman Geoffrey Richmond said: "I think it's a tremendous effort by these reporters. Some of us are already honorary members of the bald club without getting involved with a head shave - so welcome to the club!
"The Bradford Burns Unit is the official charity of the club and has an insatiable need for funds. On behalf of the club I'd like to thank the three reporters for starting the ball rolling."
Julie Stainthorpe, of the Bradford City Supporters' Club, said that club members would be making their own presentations on Saturday of funds raised for the Burns Unit through a bucket collection which raised £2,000 and by Queensbury member Paul Snowden who raised £1,000 in the London Marathon.
She added that some supporters' club members had agreed to get their heads shaved in Haigy's Bar in Lumb Lane, Manningham, before kick off.
